Connecting 2Checkout as a Payment Provider

As of September 2021, we no longer support connecting 2Checkout as a new payment provider for your Wix site. If you've already set up 2Checkout for your site, you will still be able to accept payments through this payment provider.

Connect 2Checkout as a payment provider to accept credit card payments from your customers.

Note

The currency used in your Wix account must match the currency in your 2CheckOut account. If the currencies do not match, the transactions may be declined. Click here to learn how to change your currency.

Whenever possible, Wix automatically connects you to the most suitable provider available in your region, based on your preferences and location. If you prefer to use 2Checkout, and its available in your location, follow the steps below:

Notes:

• Refunds performed in your 2Checkout account will not appear as refunded in Wix.

• If you received 2Checkout as a recommended provider, click Connect and go straight to step 5 below. Click here to learn more.

To connect 2Checkout as a provider:

1. Go to Accept Payments on your site's dashboard.
   Tip: Check your business location at the top right. If incorrect, click the drop-down menu to change it.

2. Click See More Payment Options.

3.  Click See Options beside Third-Party Credit / Debit Card Providers.

4.  Click Connect beside 2Checkout.
Note: If you don't see 2Checkout as an option, check your business address in the site manager.

5.  Depending on whether you have an account with 2Checkout or need to create a new one, select an option:

I have a 2Checkout account

1. Enter the following values:Merchant Code / Seller ID
   Secret Key
   Publishable Key
   Private Key
   Buy link secret word
   

2. Click Connect.

I don't have a 2Checkout account

1. Click Create an account.

2. Fill in the form and click Get Started.

3. Activate your 2Checkout account:Review the email sent to you by 2Checkout.
   Complete this form to activate your account.
   

4. Enable API integration in 2Checkout:Login to your 2Checkout account.
   Copy the Merchant Code number at the top right under your user name.
   Click the API tab.
   Check the I agree to 2Checkout's Terms of Use for API payment processing checkbox. This will reveal your Secret Key.
   Click Start Integrating.
   Under Key Generator, click Generate to receive your Publishable Key and Private Key.
   

5. Return to the Accept Payments tab (repeat steps 1-5) and follow the steps under I have a 2Checkout account.

2Checkout have informed us that transactions made with Mastercard in Asia may fail.
