Connecting KOMOJU as a Payment Provider

Accept credit card, convenience store, Paidy, Rakuten, au PAY, Pay-Easy, Smartphone, Mobile and Bank Transfer payments using KOMOJU as a payment provider. You can connect varied payment methods to provide your customers with multiple options to complete their purchase.

KOMOJU supports recurring credit card payments. By enabling Paidy, your customers also have the option to pay in installments.

Each Wix site you wish to connect to KOMOJU requires its own individual KOMOJU account. Learn how to add additional KOMOJU accounts.

Connecting KOMOJU

Aside from card payments, KOMOJU also provides the option to accept payments via au PAY, Bank Transfer, Convenience Store Payment, Smartphone Payment, Mobile Payment, Paidy, Pay-Easy and Rakuten Pay.

To connect KOMOJU:

  1. Go to Accept Payments on your site's dashboard.
    Tip: Check your business location at the top right. If incorrect, click the drop-down menu to change it.

  2. Click See More Payment Options.

  3. Click Connect next to any payment option provided by KOMOJU.

connecting Komoju,

  1. Select an option:

I have a KOMOJU account

  1. Enter the Secret Key you received from KOMOJU.

  2. Click Connect.

I don't have a KOMOJU account

  1. Click Create KOMOJU account. This will redirect you to KOMOJU where you can create your new account.

  2. Follow the instructions to sign up.

  3. (When your account is approved) Repeat steps 1-4 and follow the steps under I have a KOMOJU account.

I have already connected KOMOJU and I want to add another payment method

  1. Sign in to your KOMOJU account.

  2. Add the payment method you wish to connect and confirm that the payment method is active.

  3. Go to Accept Payments in your site's dashboard.

  4. Click Manage next to KOMOJU.

  5. Enable the toggle next to your desired payment method. 

    Tip: Make sure your payment method is active in KOMOJU.

  • For Convenience Store payments (Konbini), you must confirm the payment in your KOMOJU account before the transaction can be completed in Wix.

  • Longer processing times are expected with Bank Transfer payments.

Managing your KOMOJU payment methods

Once you've connected KOMOJU as your payment provider, you can enable or disable your payment methods (credit card, Paidy, Rakuten Pay, etc.) as you need them.

To manage your payment methods:

  1. Go to Accept Payments in your site's dashboard.

  2. Click Manage next to KOMOJU.

  3. Use the toggles to enable or disable your KOMOJU payment methods.
    Tip: Make sure your payment method is active in KOMOJU.

What Smartphone Payment options are available via KOMOJU?

All major Smartphone Payment methods are supported by KOMOJU. Payment methods include PayPay, LINE Pay and Merpay.

How can I tell if a payment method is active?

In order to accept online payments, you must connect a payment provider.

Once connected, your Wix checkout will be active for your chosen payment method(s).

You need to have your account successfully verified to receive payouts.
Make sure your payment method is also active in KOMOJU.

Is my currency supported?

Be aware that payments will fail If you are using an unsupported currency.

The currency used in your payment provider account must match the currency that you set in your Wix account. If you need to change the currency set in your provider account, please contact your payment provider.

If your current payment provider does not support your desired currency, Wix hosts a wide range of alternative payment providers. Learn how to change your payment provider.

What is a minimum payment amount?

Some payment providers have a minimum payment threshold (e.g. $1.01). Payments below this amount will not be processed.

Make sure that all of your products or services are priced over the minimum threshold. This includes discounted items or Pricing Plans.

Please contact your payment provider to get the most up-to-date information about their minimum payment threshold.

Can I offer recurring payments?

Yes. KOMOJU is a payment provider that supports recurring payments.

How do I get my payouts?

Payouts are managed by your payment provider. If your provider is a third-party provider, contact them directly.
If your provider is Wix Payments, learn about receiving payouts from Wix Payments.

My customers' payments are being declined. What can I do?

If your customers are experiencing payment failures, you may be able to fix the issue by troubleshooting issues for accepting payments.

Why can’t I connect my desired payment provider?

If you’re having trouble connecting your payment provider, you may be able to fix the issue by troubleshooting common connection issues.

Do I need to upgrade my site to accept payments?

Yes. You need to upgrade your site to a plan that supports payments in order to accept payments.
