Wix Art Store: Setting Up Wix Art Store to Sell Digital Images
Important:
Wix Art Store is currently not available to all users. As of October 2022 it is no longer possible to add the Wix Art Store to your site. Alternatively, you can add Wix Stores to your site and connect it to Printful to sell your art.
Once you've added Wix Art Store to your site, follow the steps below to start selling digital images.
To set up your store to sell digital images:
Step 1: Choose the type of images you want to sell (digital or print).
Click the Wix Art Store app in the Editor.
Click Settings.
Click Set Up Store.
Click Start Now.
Click Sell Digital.
Click OK.
If your store already sells prints, and you would like to switch to digital image sales:
Click the Wix Art Store app in the Editor.
Click Settings.
Click Set Up Store.
Click Change on the bottom of the window.
Select Sell Digital Under Choose What You Want to Sell.
Step 2: Add the images you want to sell to your gallery.
Click the Wix Art Store app in the Editor.
Click Manage Media.
Click + Add Media on the top right.
Click Image.
Select images from your Media Manager or click +Add Images to upload new files from your computer, social platform or file hosting service.
Note: This only uploads your images to your Art Store Files. To display your images in the gallery on your site, complete the rest of the steps.Click the Back tab.
Select the images you want to display.
Note: You can add a title, description and link for each image, reorder the images or edit the image quality.Click Done.
Step 3: Set the pricing for the images.
Click Set Pricing.
Set which licenses you want to use:
License Templates: Click the toggles under My Licenses to enable or disable each license option:Commercial Use: Web and digital use only.
Extended Use: Web, digital and print use.
Custom License: Click Create License and fill in the information to create a custom license:Enter the name of the license in the License Name field.
Enter a description of the license in the Description field.
(Optional) Upload your license agreement:Click Upload.
Select your license document or click Upload Docs to upload it from your computer.
Click Apply.
Click Save.
Select or deselect the image resolution checkboxes and enter the price for the selected options:Web Ready: Image quality is slightly reduced to allow for quicker web loading.
Original File: The image is purchased in its original quality.
Click Save.
Step 4: Set your payment and general store settings.
Click Manage Store.
Click the Payment tab.
Click Connect next to the payment method you want to use and follow the instructions provided.
Click the Business Info tab.
Enter your business's basic info:Business Name: Enter the name of your business.
Your Logo: Click the Add icon + and select your logo from the media manager, or click Upload Images to upload a new one, then click Apply. (Optional: Don't have a logo yet? Design your own stunning logo with Wix Logo, here.)
Email: Enter the email address you'd like to use for order confirmations.
Set your business's local settings:Language: Select your language.
Currency: Select your store's currency.
Price Format: Select a currency format.
Symbol Alignment: Select where the currency symbol appears.
Click the Email me when I make a sale toggle to enable or disable email notifications:Enabled: You receive an email notification when you make a sale.
Disabled: You do not receive an email notification when you make a sale. You can view your transactions on the Orders tab.
Click Save.
Notes:
Your customers receive their digital files via email. To troubleshoot email delivery issues, advise your customers to check their spam / junk folders in their inbox, and contact their email provider to ensure they can receive emails from Wix. If this doesn't resolve the issue, contact Customer Care.
