Wix Forms FAQ
Wix Forms: Adding Submission Limits to Your Forms
Add a submission limit to your form to set how many entries you wish to receive or close it after a specific deadline.
Once the limit is reached (number of forms or deadline set), the form is replaced on your site with a message letting visitors know you're no longer accepting submissions.
Important:
This feature is only available for old Wix Forms.
The option to limit form submissions is only available once your form is published on your site. If you have not published your site since adding the form, go ahead and click Publish now.
To limit your form submissions:
Click the form in your editor you want to limit form submissions for.
Click Form Settings on your form.
Click Settings.
Click Form Submission Limit.
Choose what you want to do:
Allow unlimited submissions
This option is selected by default and allows you to receive an unlimited amount of form submissions
Limit number of submission
Limit the number of submissions you wish to receive for this form. For example, if you're running a competition and you're limiting it to the first 100 applicants, you could limit your form submissions to 100.
Enter the number of total submissions you want to receive.
Review or edit the message that replaces the form once the limit has been reached.
Note: If your limit was 100, and you changed it to 150, you will now be able to receive additional 150 form submissions from the moment you click Publish.
Limit form submissions by specific date & time
Selecting this option will remove your form from your live site once the set date has been reached without you having to remove the form from your site.
Click on the calendar icon to select a date.
Click the Select a time format drop-down to select a 24H or 12H time format.
Write the last hour your visitors can submit the form by.
Note: If you select the 12H time format, make sure to include AM or PM in the time.Review or edit the message that replaces the form once the limit has been reached.
