Taking online orders
Wix Restaurants: Setting Up Your Privacy Policy & Terms and Conditions

We've released a new online ordering app. Learn how to add and set up the new Wix Restaurants Orders (New) app.
Include your restaurant's policy documents such as a Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions as part of your online reservations or online ordering process. You can also include a policy agreement checkbox beside your terms that customers must select before continuing.
To add policy documents:
Go to Settings in your site's dashboard.
Select Order settings.
Click Advanced.
Click the Policies toggle to enable it.
Choose the policies you want to add:
Add Terms & Conditions
Select the Terms & Conditions checkbox.
Choose an option:Link to URL: Adds a page to your site with Terms and Conditions that the customer sees when they click the hyperlink.
Paste as text: The Terms and Conditions are displayed in a popup while the customer is ordering or making a reservation.
Add a Privacy Policy
Select the Privacy Policy checkbox.
Choose an option:Link to URL: Adds a page to your site with the Privacy Policy that the customer sees when they click the hyperlink.
Paste as text: The Privacy Policy is displayed in a popup while the customer is ordering or making a reservation.
Add a Policy Agreement Checkbox
Once you've selected either Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy you have the option to add a Policy Agreement Checkbox that requires customers to agree with your restaurant's terms.
Select Policy Agreement Checkbox.
Choose an option:Checked by default: the checkbox is automatically selected.
Customers are required to check the box: the customer must confirm they accept your policies before continuing. If they don't select the checkbox, they will see an error message.
