Working with Categories in the Wix FAQ App
With the Wix FAQ app, you can create stunning FAQ pages for your site. You can then create categories to classify your questions and organize them for your visitors. This makes it easier for your visitors to find an answer to a question on a particular subject.

Adding a new category
You can add as many categories as you want in your site's Editor or your site's dashboard.

Your site's Editor
Click the FAQ app in your Editor.
Click Manage FAQs.
Note: If a pop-up does not open, try turning off your pop-up blocker or updating your browser version.Click Add New.
Select Category from the drop-down menu.
Enter a new name for your category.
Click the Checkmark icon to confirm.
Your site's dashboard
Go to FAQs in your site's dashboard.
Click Add New.
Select Category from the drop-down menu.
Enter a name for your new category.
Click the Checkmark icon to confirm.
Tip:
You can also create a new category when you create a new question.
Deleting a category
If you don't need a category anymore, you can delete it in your site's Editor or your site's dashboard.
Learn how to delete a category in:
Your site's Editor
Click the FAQ app in your Editor.
Click Manage FAQs.
Note: If a pop-up does not open, try turning off your pop-up blocker or updating your browser version.Click the Show More icon next to the category you want to delete.
Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
Click Delete on the pop-up to confirm.
Your site's dashboard
Go to FAQs in your site's dashboard.
Click the Show More icon next to the category you want to delete.
Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
Click Delete on the pop-up to confirm.
Note:
You must always have at least one category in your FAQ. If you have only one category, you won't be able to delete it.
Reassigning a question to different category
When you create a new question, you need to assign it to a category to publish it. You can reassign it to a different category at any time in your site's Editor or your site's dashboard.

Click the FAQ app in your Editor.
Click Manage FAQs.
Note: If a pop-up does not open, try turning off your pop-up blocker or updating your browser version.Hover over the question that you want to edit.
Click the Edit icon .
Select a new category for the question under Choose a category.
Click Save.
Your site's dashboard
Go to FAQs in your site's dashboard.
Hover over the question that you want to edit.
Click the Edit icon .
Select a new category for the question under Choose a category.
Click Save.
